Do I need a fishing License?
You do not need a fishing license. The Hot Ticket has a blanket fishing license as well as all state/federal licenses and permits.
What do I need to bring?
Bring food and beverage, sun screen, sunglasses, motion sickness pills or patch, and don’t forget the camera to record your catch.
Do I need to bring my own fishing rod and bait?
No. We provide top of the line fishing gear and bait.
How many people allowed per trip?
6 passengers or less, that’s the maximum allowed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Is fish cleaning provided?
YES, fish cleaning is included on all Trolling trips on the Hot Ticket! Fish Cleaning is an additional charge on Gulfstream Trips.
Can we get our fish mounted?
Yes. Talk to your Captain if you would like to have a fish a fish mounted and we will arrange this.
Is it possible to get a custom tailored trip with different times and pickup and drop off locations?
Yes it is. Let us know what you are looking for and we will do everything we can to make it happen.
How much do I need to tip the crew?
It is customary to tip the crew 20% of the cost of the charter. Captain and Mate work for tips.
What if we need more than 1 boat?
Please let us know and we will will arrange other boats to accommodate your party.
What do I need to reserve a trip and what if I have to cancel?
We charge a 20% refundable deposit to reserve a trip. The deposit is totally refundable until 14 days before the trip. NO SHOWS will be charged the entire trip amount. You are deemed a NO SHOW if you are not at the boat within 1 hour after your scheduled leave time. Should the trip get cancelled by the Captain due to weather you may reschedule or have your deposit refunded. We accept cash, all major credit cards, and Apple Pay. A 3.5% Convenience fee will be added for credit card purchases.
